First Day of School

Well, the girls made it through their first week of school. Here are a few pictures of them on the first day.

Story time with Daddy

Jacklyn got her ears pierced

Jacklyn decided she wanted to get her ears pierced so we took her to the mall last weekend. There was a tiny baby getting her ears pierced when we got there and of course the poor baby was screaming. This made Jacklyn very nervous and she was crying before it was even her turn. I told her we didn't have to do it today but she was determined. She wanted her ears pierced just like her big sister. She was a champ and looks beautiful. I can't believe my baby is growing up!

Jacklyn fell asleep watching cartoons and holding her Guinea Pig. When I walked in to check on her, Mixey was fast asleep on Jacklyn.

Meet the new members of the Sims 5 Family

Jacklyn got a Guinea Pig for her birthday. It was a rainy weekend so we decided to go ahead and get it for her a few weeks early. We went to the pet store and Jacklyn picked hers out and since Guinea Pigs like company we also bought one for Kaytlin. Jacklyn named hers Mixey and Kaytlin named hers Snowball. By the way they are both boys so we won't have any surprises later. The girls have played with those poor Pigs all weekend. They are very sweet and gentle little pets. Much nicer than a hamster and a lot less work than a dog! Jake wants to get a hold of them so badly but he is just a little to rough with them!

J Bear and the Bug

Jake just loves bugs. There was a huge horsefly in the house and I caught it in the girls bug net and Kaytlin whacked it with a golf club and killed it. I put it in the toilet to dispose of it and Jake went crazy looking at the bug. He got very upset when mommy flushed the buggy.

Zoo Camp 2007

The girls had a great time in Zoo Camp. Kaytlin's camp was titled "Coastal Critters" and she learned all about rivers, lakes, and oceans. She got to pet a turtle, chinchilla, dove, Guinea pig, baby alligator and a lizard.

Jacklyn's camp was titled "Cat Purrade". She learned about lions, tigers, Ocelots, Jaguars, and snow leopards. She got to pet a rabbit, snake, naked mole rat, lizard, and goats. Each day they played games, did art activities, and learned about the animals. It was a great experience and they both can't wait to go again next year.

Last Day at the Beach

We had a wonderful vacation at MeMe and PaPa's. The kids didn't want to leave. Thanks so much for such a fun filled week. Can't wait to come back next year!

MeMe brought crackers to feed the birds but Jake thought the snacks were for him.
